What are fluorescent minerals?
Fluorescent minerals are rocks such as calcite, fluorite, willemite, and others that glow brilliant colors when illuminated by different wavelengths of ultraviolet (UV) light.
Where are the display cases made?
Our cases are manufactured at our facility in the USA.
Are the fluorescent minerals included?
Fluorescent minerals are not included with our display cases. Any minerals shown in photos are for illustration purposes only.
How do I clean the outside of the display case?
The outside of the case can be dusted with a clean micro-fiber cloth.
How do I clean the glass?
Wash with a mild soap or detergent with lukewarm water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure. Rinse with clear water and dry by blotting with a damp cloth or chamois. Do Not Use: Window cleaning sprays, kitchen cleansers, gasoline, benzene, carbon tetrachloride or lacquer thinner.
Do the cases come with UV lighting?
Yes, our cases are specially designed with integrated lighting inside.
What are the options for UV lighting?
We offer display cases with longwave, midwave, or shortwave UV lighting (please specify when ordering).
Are the cases designed for permanent illumination?
Our cases are designed for intermittent use. Please do not leave on for more than 2 hrs. at a time as heat may damage the bulbs.
How can I order a replacement bulb?
